Keith,
Attached are some files on the similar street projects we did for Carrollton. We usually work with Tom Geier on
these projects. I spoke to him about the root barriers and he said they normally use the concrete option so that
they can shallow them up over the water and sewer services that are in conflict. We discussed how effective that
would be and determined that it would be better than nothing. They have been using them for a few years, but
not long enough to know if there is a true difference with them. He also said that he usually works with the home
owners on the trees and that some of them allow them to be removed and new ones planted in their yards. One
of the attachments are Mapsco pages of the locations of the projects we have completed. The project consisting
of Croft, Abbey, Carlton and Highbury is just wrapping up. It was lined with trees similar to Clear Creek. If you
