Keith:
Chris Cooper at RKM (972-921-1522) is the one that called today regarding the parabolic crown height. He was
going to talk with Shane about the changes needed to scrape off at most 2” in the center of the lime to create a 6”
parabolic section. Taking 2” off the center will still allow for a minimum lime section of 6” with an 8” section closer
to the edges of the roadway. Shane will probably call you on Monday, if not late today.

Keith:
RKM paving foreman called to verify that we were going with an 8” parabolic crown on Heartz Road. The plans
call for this, and I believe we changed this to 8” due to our discussions early in the project. However, I wanted to
double check this. They have limed the road, so going to a 6” crown will affect the lime subgrade. Let me know
what you recall.
Thanks!
Chris
