ST8806-CS 890523 GINN, INC. CONSULTING ENGINEERS May 23, 1989 Mr. Russell Doyle, P.E. Coppell,P'o'City Box of CoppellTx478 75019 Re: Parkway Blvd. (CIP) - Half Street Dear Mr. Doyle: In response to your Handwritten Memorandum dated 5/14/89 regarding the above referenced subject, we wish to confirm that our meeting with you is scheduled for 2:00 pm May 25, 1989 at your office .... .: We will have available at that time estimated project construction costs based on CIP unit prices. We will also provide you a set of plans for your use and review along with tabulated quantities. The actual project cost shall be a function of both time and method by which the City chooses to initiate this construction (ie., public bidding vs. change order). In order for the City to proceed with a change order to an existing CIP project, the City Council will have to determine that the public need is such that the project be declared an emergency. If the project is publicly bid, new contract documents and specifications, advertising, bidding and the contract award process will add additional engineering costs to this project along with approximately 2-3 months of additional time. If you have any questions prior to our scheduled meeting, please call. Sincerely, .. ~/ Kevin E. Peiffer, P.E. KP/dsp cc: H. Wayne Ginn, P.E.
