The Engineering Department is reviewing the record drawings submitted by Gonzalez &
Schneeberg Engineers for the above referenced project. The remaining items that must be
submitted prior to final acceptance of the project are maintenance bond(s) for the paving and
underground utilities installed in easements or in public rights -of -way.
Attached to this letter is the portion of the Subdivision Ordinance that regulates the submittal and
a boilerplate bond form that your (or your contractor's) surety can seal. If the same contractor
did not perform both paving and underground work, two bonds will be required, one for each
type of work. Please insure that a breakdown of quantities covered by each bond is provided
when it is submitted to our office.
