Bobby,
I appreciate your sending me the information we requested in a timely manner. I am
making the recommendation to award this contract to your firm at the council meeting on
Tuesday night. We will be awarding the contract in the amount of your bid with an
additional amount for use at the city's discretion for a total available amount of $125,000.
This will allow us to expand the size of the repairs as needed as well as pick up some
additional areas that may come up during the work.
Some time after the council meeting you should receive the contracts for signatures from
our Purchasing Department. Once we receive the contracts and bonds back from you we
will set up a pre-construction meeting and give you a notice to proceed.
