RE: Asphalt Paving Improvements
Dear Commissioner Garcia:
The City of Coppell requests cost proposals to perform two projects within our city limits. We
have worked numerous times in the past with Don Kennedy of the Road & Bridge District and
find the work performed by district personnel to be of good quality. We want to continue this
relationship to help make improvements in the future.
A new Interlocal Agreement between Coppell and Dallas County will allow us to work
together on projects to enhance our citizens' quality of life. We plan to present the agreement
to our city council in the near future and will have the agreement in force prior to beginning
either of the two proposed projects described below:
• Creation of a temporary location for the Coppell Farmers Market at the corner of Burns
Street and Coppell Road
• Asphalt overlay of Kaye Street
Please provide us a cost proposal for performing work for these two projects at your earliest
