Deforest Road
LETTER OF PERMISSION
That, Sila and Georgette Salloum, the undersigned, do hereby grant to the City of
Coppell or its employees, engineers, or contractors, permission to enter the properties owned or
controlled by them, being further described as the property located at 601 Castle Creek Drive, for
the purpose of grading for the proposed Deforest Road (ST 05 -01) project. This project consists
of the reconstruction of Deforest Road from MacArthur Blvd. to Windsor Estates. The road will
be reconstructed as a two -lane concrete roadway with improved drainage and sidewalks.
The work on said property generally consists of 4:1 slope grading necessary to tie the
proposed finished ground elevation into the existing ground elevation. This Letter of Permission
includes the right to move equipment onto the property that is necessary for the slope grading,
and the right of reasonable ingress and egress across the property for the construction purposes.
Work on said property will not extend past a line Ten (10) feet north of and parallel with the
south property /ROW line as shown on the attached Exhibit. The contractor will not be allowed
to access said property for any other purposes other than the slope grading. This permission shall
expire at the completion of the Deforest Road Project (ST05 -01).
The City of Coppell will also restore the land back to its original condition to the
maximum extent practicable. Where sod, shrubbery, and plants are removed during the
construction, such areas will have the same sod, shrubbery, and plants replaced in their prior
positions.
