Re: Belt Line/Denton Tap/Southwestern Intersection
Dear Mr. Baumbach:
On March 21, 1986, the Coppell City Council adopted to their
Master Thoroughfare Plan the realignment of Southwestern
Boulevard (southward) to match the existing Belt Line Road
(east) alignment with Denton Tap and Belt Line Roads.
We respectfully request voluntary dedication of the right-of-
way needed to accomplish this realignment. Enclosed is a
legal description and exhibit for this right-of-way dedication.
Please execute both copies and return them to our office.
After we have filed the dedication documents with Dallas County
Deed Records, we will forward you a copy for your records.
A future traffic study will determine the number of lanes to
be required west of this intersection when the property on the
southwest corner begins the platting process. The current
roadway will be designed to provide the optimum safety possible
for all directions of traffic concerned.
