Dear Jerry,
This is in response to your letter dated July 20, 1989 (copy attached)
regarding Driveway access to ABO Property. While we discussed the traffic
control situation, I don't recall the drive access issue. The traffic
control ("buttons required', etc.) that you provided on Parkway Blvd. are
just part of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP'S) executed at the end
of a private development project. Traffic control is done with an
existing condition to best protect the driving public. It in no way
should reflect the City of Coppell's policy on driveway access points.
Those policies and requirements are independent of the Traffic Control
procedure.
When a private development application is submitted to the City of
Coppell, their driveway access, etc. is addressed, considering the
policies and condition in effect at the time of application.
Likewise, the traffic control-in place at that time will be reconsidered,
given the proposed development, etc.

presuppose future proposals, conditions, and approvals of future City
Engineersby signing the attached letter.
