It doesn't even address the issue of the wall. I expect something that addresses the wall as an individual case where the contractor performing the work caused visible movement, and surface scratches to the wall. As we discussed some time ago we will allow this minor damage to remain unrepaired, however we will monitor this wall for signs of additional damage for the next two years. If structural failures occur during this time, repairs will need to be made. I want a letter that includes those specific statements, and a guarantee to that from SBC. The letter should also be signed by someone with the authority to make that statement. I walked this site on Saturday, and I see that some additional work has been done since my last letter, however I have not seen the completion verification form come in. Has that been completed and signed off on by our Public Works Department? I'll check with them in the morning. Once these issues have been addressed, I will review the plans you submitted for this other permit. I will not release a permit until you have selected a contractor to perform the work. The contractor will not be authorized to proceed until we have met and conducted a pre- construction conference here at City Hall. Feel free to call with any questions or concerns. Keith R.
