Dear Jay:
Pursuant to your request I have performed the following research at the Dallas
County Appraisal District regarding the above. Enclosed are two schedules for
your review. Schedule "A " notes those properties which front on the northside
of Beltline Road. Schedule "B" notes those properties which front on the south-
side of Beltline Road. The findings on said schedules represent my opinion of the
tax implications of the proposed rerouting of Beltline Road.

Notes on Analysis:
Please be advised that the aforementioned calculations
represent my estimation of land assessments within the
subject area for tax year 1986-87. Since this area will
be revaluated by the Dallas County Appraisal. District
for 1986, said land assessments should remain in effect
for two years. It should also be noted that in my opinion
the proposed rerouting of Beltline Road will not in itself
have a significant effect on the'City of Coppell tax roll.
If there is to be a significant effect on said roll it would
depend on the future development of the south side of
Beltline Road. At this point in time the measurement of
the future impact on the City tax roll, based on developed
southern properties is nearly impossible, because of the
lack of data.
Finally, for your records I have enclosed a copy of a
D.C.A.D. printout which notes the certified values for
all collecting entities within Dallas County. As you can
see, the 1985 City of Coppell tax roll amounted to
$581,568,650, of which $504,859,390 was taxable. Based
on a 1985 tax rate of .$6¢ (per hundred dollars valuation),
said taxable value would generate taxes of approximately
$2,827,213.
