Tim Oates: transformer blew up, started small grass fire...oncor rep arrived on scene and
corrected issue?
Tim Oates: this is what the Captain put in his narrative of the fire report:
E122 and S121 responded to a transformer fire along with a grass fire on Deforest just east of
Allen Dr. Upon arrival found a power pole that had blown fuses due to contractors re- energizing
the line. Grass just below the power pole and in the backyard of a neighbors yard had burned but
were already extinguished. S121 was disregarded enroute. Oncore rep arrived on scene and
stated that the contractors that were already on scene were going to do the repairs to the
damaged pole and line. E122 cleared the scene.
