Shane,
My neighbor sent me a note that he noticed the crew either removed or damaged the sprinkler heads near the
sidewalk and haven’t capped them off so the area is flooding when my sprinklers come on (just 1-2 times per
week to water the foundation). I know y’all said you would make sure the sprinkle systems all work again at the
end of the project, but can you make sure they cap it off during the construction phase?
Also, I mentioned at the project kickoff meeting that I would appreciate it if y’all could help fill in the low area near
the sidewalk where we had some settling around one of the grade-level utility access boxes. Could you remind
the crew to provide some additional dirt in that area when they come back to fix the landscaping at the end of the
project? If they could throw down some sod on that area it would certainly be appreciated, but I don’t expect y’all
to cover that if you don’t have some extra sod handy.
Lastly, one of the other items I mentioned at the project kickoff meeting was our interest in possibly having RKM
add an extension on along side a portion of our of our driveway. It would be a “nice to have” but not a strong
“need”, so with a pretty tight family budget I don’t have a lot to spend on a project like that. I estimate the size
we’d be looking for at about 12’x35’. The most I could swing is $750, maybe $1,000. I know that is less than you
would normally charge, but would this amount be something you could work with considering the crew is already
out there on the project? Just let me know and we can discuss further if it is.
Thanks!
Bob
