Dear Shohre:
As a result of our pre-construction meeting this morning at
the City Hall conference room, I am submitting the Construction
Development Permit Applications.
A copy of the check for inspection is attached. Larry Davis,
Chief Inspector instructed us to pay the fee at the water
utilities department.
A question regarding the placement of future sidewalks along
Heartz Road was brought to my attention. T.U. Electric has
poles to be located along the R.O.W. with the face of said poles
not more than 1'-0" to 1"-6" inside the R.O.W. I discussed
the placement of the fire hydrants with Mr. Troy Glidewell,
Fire Department. Based on my discussion with Mr. Glidewell,
we are proposing to place the center of the fire hydrants 7ft.
from the back of curb, or 0.5' inside of the R.O.W. of Heartz
Road. The outside edge of the 4' wide sidewalk would then be
located 2' from the R.O.W., which is a fairly standard distance,
however the Subdivision Ordinances of Coppell recommends 1 foot
from the R.O.W. The deviation of the future sidewalk is only
necessary on the west side of Heartz Road, since no power poles
or fire hydrants are proposed along the east side of Heartz
Road.
