HE: Coppell MUD #1 Board Meeting 10/16/90
As you are aware, I attended the above referenced meeting
yesterday morning and below you will find the status of each of the
agenda items.
1) Minutes were approved as written.
2) Discussion concerning tax role for coming year and tax
collection for previous year. The Board vote to maintain
15 cent tax rate for the new year.
3) The Engineering report was given and the following items were
reported.
A) Odor problem at Deforest lift station.
B) Pump failure at Deforest.
C) Motor starter failure at Deforest.
D) Oakbend Addition and Pecan Hollow Addition construction
status.
E) Plan review for - Lake Park and Vista Ridge (MacArthur
Boulevard water/sewer) - plans are acceptable to MUD.
4) Board denied request to approve annexing the 1.3 acre track
on east side MacArthur across from Lake Park Addition. The
request was denied because Hinkley refused to grant easements
to MUD District.
5) The connection of the Heartz Road sanitary sewer was discussed
and approved by the Board per the stipulations of the letter
of agreement from Board Chairman to City Manager.
6) Board was also approached to get there feelings on whether or
not the developer of the Eby track (located south of Pecan
Hollow) could possibly be annexed into the MUDdistrict. The
Board asked that the developer apply for approval.
Additionally, the letter of agreement, mentioned in item #5, needs
your review and if you have any comments please advise Alan
Ratliff. Other than the items mentioned above, Mr. Ratliff
informed the Board that the Council approved the $250.00 payment
to Mr. and Mrs. Philips of 617 Raintree.
If you have any questions, please advise.
