Subject: Complaint about Royal Ln @ 635 traffic signal
FYI -
Steve Mobley (former KCB member) called early this morning to say they have turned the new signal on
to flash mode and he had been sitting in traffic southbound on Royal in the area of Bethel for 20 minutes
without moving. He assumed it was a Coppell signal until I told him TxDOT was responsible.
He said it had never been like that, it usually takes him 12 minutes to get to his office. He asked if we
would complain to TxDOT along with him. I told him hopefully it will get better as people get used to it,
and that Royal will be widened south of 635 eventually which should help traffic flow also.
