Box 478 Coppell, TX 75019 Re: Heartz Road Sanitary Sewer from C.M.U.D. 24" Interceptor to Sandy Lake Road Dear Mr. Goram: We have reviewed the plans for the proposed sanitary sewer described above. Our review included a calculation of the anticipated volume of sewage (including infiltration) which may be carried by this line based partly on recent population information developed by the City of Coppell Planning Department for the Impact Fee Studies, and on the subdivision plans recently reviewed by this office. The information furnished by the C.M.U.D. No. 1 regarding this line dealt only with anticipated probable costs of construction, not estimates of sewage flow volumes. The following table displays the calculations performed to determine the approximate sewage flow quantities anticipated for the subject sanitary sewer. NCTCOG IACREAGEIRES. IAVr,. RES. As can be seen above, our estimate of the Total Peak Flow for the proposed sanitary sewer line is approximately 0.9 MGD. Our review of the proposed sanitary sewer profiles indicates that the line's maximum capacity, without surcharging, will be about 1.1 MGD. 17103 Preston Road · Suite 100 · LB 118 · Dallas, Texas 75248 · Phone 214/248-4900 Considering the current level of development and the proposed land uses in this basin, we think it is reasonable to expect the proposed sanitary sewer line to function adequately as designed.
