Dear Steve:
I have a conflict and cannot meet with you this Friday, and
Dick Pierce needs a little more time to complete his review
of the proposed new Heartz Road Sewer Line. Consequently, we
are thinking about a meeting later in the month that is
mutually convenient for all of us. Please check your
schedule and call to suggest a time and date.
In preparation for the meeting, please check and see how the
Willow Wood Sections 1 and 2 are sewered. Also we need to
know how the Sandy Oaks Subdivision is sewered. Please advise
by letter and/or map showing the offsite sewer layout prior to
the meeting if possible.
Mr. Pierce will confer with Wayne Ginn on any technical
comments about the proposed Heartz Road line unless you
advise to the contrary.
There are several questions you may want to consider before
the meeting:
1. Who will be responsible for overseeing construction of the
line and certifying "as-built" plans?
2. Who will be responsible for the operation and maintenance
of the line and supervising taps thereto?
3. Do you propose that any new taxable development on
undeveloped land outside of the District to be served by this
line be required to be annexed or pay any fee(s) to the
District or are all revenues proposed to be retained by the
City? and,
4. Do you proposed to limit the use of the land to be served
by this line which is outside of the District in accordance
with the design criteria used to size the line?
