GME started their work on Wednesday &Thursday this week. On Thursday Charlie Love was present with the
arrow board and noticed the contractor had an unusual way of directing traffic (cussing &flipping the drivers
off). This morning I heard about this and I have decided I would like to terminate their contract.
So far they have only performed 8 bores for a total of 130 feet deep. The total number is 23 for a depth of 340
feet. Their anticipated schedule was only 3 days. We are providing the arrow board along with staff to move it
so their slow progress is affecting the staff for traffic. At the beginning of the project Doug scheduled 2
meetings and canceled the day of.
Please review the attached Notice of Contract Termination. I strongly believe this level of service is not
acceptable.
