Mr. Frank Pagano Natural Hazard Program Specialist Federal. Emergency Management Agency Region VI, Federal Center 800 North Loop 288 Denton, Texas 76201-3698 Re: REQUEST FOR CONDITIONAL LOMR/ABQ DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION PARKS OF COPPELL Dear Mr. Pagano: The City of Coppell has received the enclosed technical report on existing and proposed floodplain reclamation studies on the above referenced project. Per your request, we have addressed this to you, and hand delivered to your office. This report, as indicated by Jerry Parche Consulting Engineers, includes a detailed hydraulic analysis of the existing and proposed floodplain and floodway conditions in Cottonwood Branch and Denton Creek. As requested by the applicant, please process this request for a conditional letter of Map Revision. As Mr. Parche indicates, this submittal is an extension of the reclamation studies to the west of Denton Tap Road on "Parkway Boulevard Extension West" including the access street for Coppell High School. This extension will allow Parkway Boulevard to connect Coppell Road and Denton Tap Road as a vital link in Coppell's Major Thoroughfare Plan. If you have any technical questions on this request, please contact Mr. Jerry Parche at (817) 467-2418 and keep us informed. Any administrative questions should be directed to Shohre Daneshmand, Civil Engineer or myself at (214) 462-0022. We appreciate your expeditious review and consideration of this request. xc: LETTER ONLY: Alan Ratliff, City Manager Jerry Parche, P.E.
