The turn lane improvements at both intersections will take about three weeks and the signal light improvements will take about three to four weeks to complete. It is Staffs opinion that the intersection improvements are a high priority due to the, at times, unbearable traffic congestion caused by the intersections. Therefore, staff recommends that $10,568.00 from unallocated interest be utilized to construct the intersection improvements at Belt Line/MacArthur and at Sandy Lake/MacArthur.
