Lake edge —define criteria to inform Freese and Nichols as they finalize design
Minimum size
Water level for each section
Wetlands creation in selected areas
Tree planting timeline in lake and on edge
Water range of elevation changes due to flooding and draught
Technique to hold the edge without erosion —wave action
Schedule for the spillway and scope
Preferred design and implementation
Consideration for land east of CW
Visual considerations of dam with lowered lake level, if any
2 intermediate dams
Location and width
Process to keep water level for each section set
Process
City votes needed?
Freese and Nichols design timing
Construction timeline
Access to lake for construction access to City of Plano land after construction
List of documents and ownership to be changed and how to accommodate final plan
Water and Sanitary Sewer connections to Coppell
Timing and terms
Curb Cuts onto Beltline and Hackberry
Inter -local Agreements
Need to list topics and timing
Drainage from Racetrack needs to stay on their property
Before the meeting it is our intent to send to the team a couple of suggested lake edge treatments that intend to
minimize costs while protecting against erosion. If you all have any items that you have thought through that can
be shared before the meeting, you know everything will be more productive if we are not bringing up topics at the
meeting but rather discussing the ideas that both parties are bringing to the table.
As this meeting is a cast of thousands, I really do want to be well prepared in advance.
I have also inserted at the end of the list of the items that I had on my mind, those issues that Ken had emailed us
about and are critical to resolve for staying on the TIF development timeline.
Please review this above and get back to me with your comments/ changes.
Thanks,
