Robert,
You know me as Douglas Robinson, City of Coppell, Board of Adjustment...
However, for this inquiry, I am representing the Estates of Cambridge Manor HOA and provide
information to other HOA's where access is provided by Deforest Road.
I have been obtaining schedule updates for the Deforest Road project from George Marshal at the City
and distributing those updates to the HOA(s) to limit repetitive requests to the City. In obtaining a May
update from George today, he indicated the process was delayed while The Lakes HOA discussed
improvements with the City Attorney (I'm presuming you).
I don't know if you can elaborate on the nature of the discussions with The Lakes HOA, but the lack of
information has some individuals rallying to go down to City Hall with pitchforks, if the City taxpayers
are paying for improvements specific to The Lakes HOA. I assured everyone that the City would not do
this and that the HOA may be arranging to pay for improvements that would be incorporated into the
City's work. I said I would attempt to gain more information.
Are you able to comment on The Lakes HOA matter that is delaying the Deforest Road project?
