Dear Mr. Lieu:
This is to notify you that we have completed reviewing your request for deaf child
warning signs at the entrances to the Riverview Estates Subdivision.
The City has decided to install the signs however, we request that you notify the
Engineering Department at 972-304-3679 if you move from the subdivision or when your
son becomes an adult. Overuse or misuse of warning signs tends to negate their
effectiveness and we ask for your cooperation in helping us to keep the signs up-to-date.
In addition, staff may periodically contact you to verify that the signs are still needed.
The signs will be installed as soon as our schedule permits, most likely within two weeks.
