Dear Resident /Owner:
In November 2007 the citizens of Coppell voted to use 1/4¢ cent of the sales tax money
collected for the maintenance of city streets. On June 14, 2011, the City Council approved
a consultant contract with JQ Infrastructure, Inc. for the design of a project to reconstruct
two residential streets in your area.
The two streets planned for next year's reconstruction project are Vanbebber Drive and
Sandy Knoll Drive. The scope of the reconstruction includes new water and sewer lines,
new concrete paving, and new sidewalks. This project will be a continuation of the City's
effort to improve and upgrade older residential streets using sales tax proceeds in the
manner approved by voters in 2007.
Representatives of JQ Infrastructure, Inc. will be in your area soon to begin the survey
work necessary for the design of both of these projects. Their personnel should have
identification and be in marked vehicles. They will stake the surveyed areas with markers
to aid in the design work, so please do not remove the stakes. The actual construction
work is expected to begin during the spring of 2012.

Dear Resident:
The City of Coppell proposes to reconstruct the street, sidewalk, and utilities in the vicinity of your
property. JQ Infrastructure has been contracted to provide engineering and land surveying services for
the design of this reconstruction project.
Our survey crews will need to access your property (outside only) to obtain information regarding your
property corners along the road and land topography features including curbs, driveways, sidewalks,
trees, manholes, and water meters. Additionally, our survey crews will measure the elevation on top of
the front porch of your house. The survey is scheduled to begin within the next few days.
Our engineers, as well as engineers with the City of Coppell, may need to access your property in the
coming weeks to perform pre- design investigations.
