Belt Line & Southwestern and reduced S. Belt Line & Denton Tap to one lane in each direction.  The phasing will be quite similar to what was done at Denton Tap & Sandy Lake last summer.  The contractor has an incentive bonus tied to the closure of the east and west directions.  For every day prior to 30 days they will receive a $3000/day bonus and every day after 30 a disincentive of $3000/day will be assessed.   Last year at Denton Tap & Sandy Lake there was the same structure of incentive/disincentive, the same contractor performed the work and they received a $15,000 bonus for completing the project in 25 days.  They anticipate finishing earlier this year even though the volume of concrete is more.     I would like to add that we are also going to start construction on the intersection of Denton Tap & Pakrway to replace the brick paver bands with stamped concrete like what was done at Wrangler & S. Belt Line last year.   Since you are mainly traveling from 121 to 635 you may want to consider either staying on 121 to 635 in the grapevine area or taking 161 or traveling on MacArthur Blvd or even exiting 121 at Sandy Lake and taking Royal (Though there is construction at 635 by TxDOT on Royal).   file://C:\Documents and Settings\radloo\Local Settings\Temp\XPgrpwise\4DEE99B6City_o...7/6/2011 Page 2 of 2 If you have any further questions, please feel free to contract me.   Thank You, George   George Marshall, PE City of Coppell Engineering 972-304-3562 >>> "Jeff Stubing" <jeff.stubing@verizon.net> 6/6/2011 11:20 PM >>> Hi  George, I travel from 121 down to LBJ for work every day.  I noticed today that there were some serious problems on my way back home.   Please give me some more detail on the #MA 10-06 project.  Will it affect both directions?           Will it be limited to the Sandy Lake intersection only?           When will it be finished.            Thanks for your time in advance!   Jeff Stubing   file://C:\Documents and Settings\radloo\Local Settings\Temp\XPgrpwise\4DEE99B6City_o...7/6/2011
