RE: Old Town Coppell Utility Relocations
Dear Mr. Wooley:
The City of Coppell, in an effort to enhance the appearance of Old Town Coppell, will be burying
some of the existing aerial utility lines that cross Bethel Road in your area. In order to accomplish
this, Oncor Electric Delivery will need to trench a conduit under the road and across your property
to the location of your electric meter. An electrician working for the city will then need to
disconnect your electric service and reconnect the new service.
The City has hired NEMA 3 Electric, Inc. to complete the work at your electric meter. Mike
Barrett will be the electrician performing the necessary work. He may need access to your electric
panel in order to complete this work. Mike can be reached at 214 - 929 -7952.
This work is being done in conjunction with the road improvement project that will begin later this
year. We hope you will agree that this will enhance the overall appearance of the Old Town area.
There will be no cost to you associated with this work. The work is planned to begin in the next
few weeks.
As portions of this work will be performed on your private property, the city will need your
permission prior to proceeding with this phase of the work. Please feel free to call me to discuss
what exactly we will be doing at your location. If you are agreeable to granting permission for our
electrician to work on your property, please sign below and return a copy of this letter to my
attention in the enclosed envelope.
Sincerely,
