Jim,
During the course of construction of the City of Coppell Annual Sidewalk Repair contract Styles caused
damage to an irrigation system at 621 Swan. In addition, some sod that was repaired at 200 Meadowglen
in the course of the project did not survive the winter.
The City of Coppell is requesting that repairs be made at the above locations per the terms of our original
contract with Styles Contracting.

Jim,
Attached is the invoice sent from Styles for our sidewalk repair project.
We processed the amount due under invoice #5 for payment on 12/18/2009. As
I understand it, the only outstanding amount is the 10% retainage in the
amount of $11,948.65.
As for the discrepancy between this number, and the number provided by our
Finance Department ($12,527.65), this project was a unit price bid with a
total project award of $120,065.50. At the end of the project the total
value of the work completed was only $119,486.50 which is $579 less than we
encumbered through Finance.
