Subject: Signal at Riverchase and Sandy Lake
I live off Riverchase and I recently noticed a sign indicating there may be a new traffic signal at
Riverchase and Sandy Lake. Is this true?
During our 12 years in the Riverchase neighborhood, my wife and I have never thought that
intersection needs a signal. We'd be very interested in knowing what research led the City to
determine that a signal is needed there. If there will be a signal, will sensors be used to make sure
Sandy Lake traffic never has a red light when no cars are stopped at Riverchase?
