We would like to propose using a `mountable' curb profile for a portion of the development at Willow Park. We feel this proposal will be more aesthetically pleasing in addition to providing the maintenance advantage of reducing additional joints and variation of mix designs and concrete placement variables in the street by eliminating the need to cut curbs as we build out this development. This also gives us more uniform control and protection of the road's subgrade treatment by not disturbing it once it is initially in place. We feel this project is ideal to utilize this as the streets are short runs and do not carry significant amounts of runoff due to their short lengths. We are proposing to widen the street along the `necks' to a 29' BOC -BOC in lieu of 28'to accommodate the adjustment people will make in their parking. Our engineer is proposing to transition back to standard city curb details at the backs of the cul -de- sacs to reduce the ability of running water coming down the street to `jump' the curb.
