Subject: Utility Poles
Mr. Fredrick,
I am writing to request removal of unused utility poles on Bethel Road here in Coppell. As you may be aware, we are
currently reconstructing Bethel Road from Denton Tap to Penfolds Lane. Within the limits of this project, and slightly
beyond, there are 4 utility poles that do not appear to serve any current purpose. Two poles are on the south side of
Bethel, and two are on the north side. All poles are located between Park Lane and the bridge over Grapevine Creek. It is
my understanding that these poles belong to Verizon.
The city is spending a considerable amount of money on this project to enhance the appearance of the roadway, and we
hereby request the removal of any unused or redundant poles within this area.
