Gentlemen:
I would like to take the time to thank Keith, Larry, Joe, and Tery for taking the time
to meet on site yesterday at 2:15pm to discuss getting power to the median of Penfolds.
Attached is a sketch of the work to be performed that will make the necessary
connections to the median area.
Mels Electric is scheduled to be on site tomorrow starting between 9am to loam to check
the street lights on the bridge and install the electrical connection at Penfolds.
Mels will make the necessary connections and run 3/4" conduit from the connection on
the east side of Penfolds, to the center median, install a junction box, and install
3/4" conduit from the junction box to the connection on the west side of Penfolds. At
that time Mels will check to make sure that there is power to the median and to the
connection on the west side of Penfolds.
At our meeting on site yesterday, it was brought up that at the start of the project
there was a tree at the SW corner of Penfolds that was scheduled to be removed and
another tree that was falling on the screening wall and Rodney's garage area. It was
discussed with Rodney that instead of removing the tree at the SW corner of Penfolds,
JRJ would remove the tree that was falling on the screening wall and his garage area,
but before JRJ would remove the tree, He /Reserve HOA needed to disconnect the wiring
from the tree and turn off power so area was safe. The next day Rodney and I met and I
was informed that this had been completed and we could proceed with this removal. The
tree was removed and the wiring was left exposed at this location until it came to the
final walk with City of Coppell which asked that the wiring be placed under grass
area. The reason this is brought up is once the median and west side areas are hot,
this area will also be hot and will need to be addressed, but is not a part of any work
performed by JRJ or Mels Electric.
Thank you,
Dean Dumke
