Subject: Bethel Rd - Penfolds electrical update
Gentlemen:
Yesterday Mels electric was on site to begin installation of electrical connection to the Penfolds median. Due to
not having a locator, Mels did not make connection on the east side. Once this was found out, I contacted both
Joe & Keith regarding this and informed them that the east side connection would be made on Monday
afternoon. Since my conversation with them, I was contacted by Mels and informed that they will be getting the
locator equipment and finish the connection today. I will be in contact with Mels and be on site today to make
sure this work is performed.
Also, yesterday in meeting Larry Davis, Coppell Inspector, Lee, Coppell Building Inspector, and Mels rep on site it
was discussed that one box be installed in median and one box installed on the west side of Penfolds. Due to
the area in which the tree was removed and the electrical disconnected, it would be a safety hazard if the
electrical was connected on the west side. Mels is going to make sure that there is power to center median box
and to west side box, but not make the connection to the wires going to the west of the box due to safety, but
once the electrical has been reconnected where tree was removed, an electrician will be able to got to the west
side box and make necessary connections in the future. Keith and Joe were both made aware of what was
discussed in this paragraph.
