Was there an attachment to show me the dedicated street? Depending on the configuration of
the street, I would probably be more agreeable with the dedicated street concept ... but, I think
you are going to have a very hard time convincing our Planning Dept, neighbors, P &Z and
Council if the subdivision doesn't resemble others in the area.

The Fire Dept. will not support the houses facing Sandy Lake road with front yard fencing. The
'fire lane' in the back would have to be a public street built to city standards and the houses then
be addressed off that new street.

Tim,
This is only homes facing Sandy Lake Road. The homes could be fronting South on the fire lane.
We are trying to present a more attractive subdivision with views of nice homes and well
landscaped front yards (with trees) vs the typical masonry compound that is normal for Sandy
Lake Road. The homes would be well set back from Sandy Lake Road on extra deep lots. This
layout gives the subdivision the largest &most attractive layout of lots. Will this work for the
emergency response, if we construct a fire lane vs. an alley at the rerar of theses lots? We are
attempting to come to a final configuration (two or three options) by Friday so Gary can review
and give us his thoughts Monday.

Yes sir. We would no be requesting access to Sandy Lake Road. We realize there might be
additional cost for utilities. Just trying to come up with a layout that limits tree removal and yet
gives the addition an open feel vs an enclosed compound.

I'm sure Gary will have some thoughts on the layout. Two things to consider from an
engineering perspective, no driveway access will be allowed on Sandy Lake Road, and your
cost to bring utility service to the lots fronting Sandy Lake could be quite high.
