All,
One light pole has been reinstalled at the corner of Halifax Lane and South Coppell Road last week.
There are wires in the ground on the corner of Halifax Drive and South Coppell Road leading into the
Devonshire subdivision. I look forward to seeing that light pole in the near future installed and
functioning.
I appreciate seeing progress made in restoring lighting back to the applicable areas updated by the road
construction on South Coppell Road.
Thanks,
Anthony

Jason,
I fully expect Oncor to restore the missing light poles along this project. There are actually
several of them that were removed during the project. The original intent was to have our
contractor move them, however Oncor wanted to move them with their contractor.
Our contact on this is Larry Reddick. He was here last week meeting with me to discuss the
issue. He is currently out of town, and will return on September 7th. He indicated he will work
on restoring theses lights when he gets back.
Sorry this issue is dragging on so long. Feel free to call me if you wish to discuss this further.

Keith,
If you have time, I'd like to discuss this with you to better understand
where our attention needs to be directed to get the street light returned to
service.
Thanks!
Jason

Jason,
Here is a quick synopsis on the street light efforts:
1) I went online in June to contact Oncor about the street light not being
in place. The request was sent to the subcontractor that repairs the
physical street lights. Since the repair person didn't see a physical pole,
he contacted me and indicated that a light was in the physical plan, and a couple of other lights
had not been replaced after the road construction.
2) I spoke to Keith Marvin from the city in July after speaking the
subcontractor. Keith indicated Oncor didn't want the subcontractors to
replace the light poles with lights. Keith didn't feel he had enough
influence to get the light poles installed with the lights.
3) I recently filed another request online last week regarding the light
poles, and made a request to have the light poles re installed. The online
form indicates that a light pole is suppose to be at the corner of Halifax
and South Coppell Road. Oncor owns the responsibility on the installation
and maintenance of the poles. My comments centered around safety --- people
walking in the evening and early morning, also it helps to provide safety
