Ken,
We are going to leave a lane closed overnight in the 900 block of W. Bethel Rd. It is about 100 feet of the
westbound, inside lane. There is a large cavity under the road and we do not want traffic on it until it can be
dried out and backfilled properly. The cavity was caused by our excavation work related to the water leak. The
outside, westbound lane will remain open to traffic. We still have not found the source of the leak. We will
continue working on it tomorrow. Let me know if I need to notify anyone else about this closure.
The sewer problem on Deforest has been repaired. I think they still have a little backfill work and clean up to do
tomorrow. The leak on Clear Creek is also being fixed today. The contractor did get the new auto-valve installed
in EST #1 today as well.
