FYI,
We met with Tiseo this morning. They are planning on having a crew here on Monday to begin repairs. They will
also be replacing the paving we removed yesterday. They asked that we go ahead and fill up the excavation to
the top for safety reasons. They will dig it back out to a foot below subgrade and re-compact the material
before they replace the concrete. Rick Odell is going to be inspecting the repairs.

Good Morning Ken,
Good news. We have found the source of the leak on Bethel. It is coming from the fire hydrant lead that is 300'
west of location where the leak was surfacing. We turned off the tapping valve to the hydrant and stopped the
leak. I would never have believed that the water would travel 300' under paving before it surfaced. This
particular hydrant is one of the ones that was replaced during the Bethel Road construction. The leak repair is
probably going to be Tiseo's problem.
We are going to spend today drying out and backfilling the hole we dug yesterday. We may get the concrete
poured but more than likely it will be Monday. I am going to meet Rick Odell out there in a few minutes. He is
going to contact Tiseo and have them meet us at the location.
I will let you know what Tiseo's plans are once we have met with them and have come up with a plan for the
repair,
Later, Glenn
