Matt,
I met with a representative from Atmos yesterday for the stretch of Sandy Lake from Denton Tap to South Coppell Road.
They have completed their pot-holing and have considerable relocations to complete. They have no objection to the
relocation of the distribution system, and are working on the design.
The main issue we discussed was the transmission line and their substation. They have taken shots on their 24" high
pressure main at the following locations:
STA. 84+23.51
16' LT
Top of pipe elevation 492.010
STA 84+81.29
34' RT
Top of pipe elevation 492.692
They assure me that this is based on the same datum that we used, however I think we should verify these prior to using
them.
They have given me an estimate of $620,000 to lower this line. I would like to consider our other options prior to moving
forward with this lowering.
