ST9902-CS101210 (2) (8/26/2011) Keith Marvin - Re: Summer Place monument signPage 1 From: Keith Marvin To:Canizares, Mario; Griffin, Ken; Oates, Tim Date: 12/10/2010 1:25 PM Subject: Re: Summer Place monument sign The current plans for Sandy Lake Road show us rebuilding approximately 80 feet of Summer Place due to grade changes. The island area falls completely within the reconstruction limits. Our intention was to rebuild the island while leaving the sign in place. If the consensus is to remove the island and sign and build back the 42 foot wide paving with no island, we can do that. Keith >>> Tim Oates 12/10/2010 11:21 AM >>> Gentlemen, Mr. Rupert Keeping, 440 Leisure Ln., contacted me yesterday stating that he has informally contacted several persons in the neighborhood regarding the damaged entry sign. He said they pretty much feel the sign and curbing should go away, replaced with concrete. They would then relocate the pin mounted "Summer Place" letters to the existing 'wing wall'. Anyway, Mr. Keeping stated he is preparing a letter to send to all his neighbors explaining the proposed removal of the damaged sign, seeking more input??? My question is: Will we incorporate that removal and concrete replacement with the Sandy Lake project? I know we discussed this but I do not recall the specifics other than Code Enforcement working on a current inventory/condition assessment of this type of sign, which is completed. Total # of Active HOA's - 85 Total # of Entry Signs - 143 Total # of Signs on ROW/Common Area - 14 Total # of Sign on Private Property - 129 Mr. Griffin - Mr. Keeping also has a complaint regarding a pothole on Summer Place, and wants to have the first 200 ft of the road completely redesigned to eliminate the drastic incline at Sandy Lake/Summer Place intersection. I told him to contact Keith Marvin regarding the design of Sandy Lake and Debi Ingram for a work order for the street repair.
