I am following up on a conversation we had a couple of weeks ago concerning the temporary use of the fire lane located
between 204 and 306 Airline Drive. I am attaching a .PDF file showing what we are proposing. We feel that this access
would be of great benefit to the citizens of Coppell during the reconstruction of Southwestern Blvd. Construction is slated
to begin on or about January 1, 2009. Southwestern Blvd. will be closed at the bridge over Grapevine Creek for four to six
months. During this time Access to Pinkerton Elementary school will be severely impacted for both parents and emergency
personnel.
The City of Coppell would like to meet with you and the owner of the property about entering into an agreement to utilize
this fire lane for public access during this construction period. Please let me know when you are available.
