Dear Jim:
Enclosed is an executed copy of your contract with ABQ
Development Corporation for Parks of Coppell - Fill in Tract 7.
Also provided herewith are two additional sets of Construction
Plans for this contract.
Current plans for the project construction, as attached and as
provided to Weir Bros., Inc. with a copy of my letter to Mr. Dale
Jackson of the City of Coppell dated November 16, 1989, include
revisions from the plans as bid. The borrow area grading has
been revised to generate only 34,500 c.y. of material, all of
which will be placed in Tract 7. A "stockpile topsoil area" is
shown on Sheet No. 29 and Sheet No. 31 is added to clarify
proposed grading adjacent to the east property line of the borrow
area.
Please furnish executed Performance and Payment Bonds as required
by the contract. Blank copies of these instruments as published
by EJCDC are enclosed. Also furnish Power of Attorney from the
Bonding Company.
This letter will serve as your Notice to Proceed on the
referenced contract. The Contract time will commence on November
28, 1989. Contract time is thirty calendar days. It is very
important that all work under this contract be completed within
the Contract time. The Contract completion date is December 27,
1989.
Before you start any work at the site, executed copies of the
performance and payment bonds must be delivered to Jerry Parche'
Consulting Engineers.

Any questions regarding the construction should be directed to
me, the surveyors, or the geotechnical engineers. Brittain &
Crawford will provide survey services in accordance with Section
F, Paragraph 15 of the Contract. Their phone number is 817/429-
5112.
Baker-Shiflett, Inc. will provide geotechnical testing services
and general supervision of grading operations in accordance with
Section F, Paragraph 23 and other applicable sections of the
Contract. Their phone number is 817/478-8254. The soils
technician must be present on the site during any fill operations
to perform density tests.
