Rick O'Dell met with Kent Moore and Verizon this morning. Verizon has agreed to have their contractor return to
Southwestern and clean out the driveway culverts and remove any excess material in the ditches between Coppell Road
and the bridge. Mr. Moore seemed satisfied with the resolution.

We have photos from this morning and it doesn't appear that Verizon caused any significant issues out there. Keith, Rick, Per and
Glenn have looked at it this morning. The following is Glenn's response after looking at it:
Per and I went to take a look at the problem on Southwestern. None of the culverts appear to be stopped up. A couple may need a
little cleaning but nothing that was caused by Verizon. There are several places where the ditch was not graded very well and is
causing "birdbaths". I did not see any evidence of the water having to flow across Southwestern. Next time we get a good storm, I
will go check the area out.
Glenn
This was Glenn's first email after Kent visited the Service Center this morning:
Kent Moore was just in our office complaining about the condition of the ditches on Southwestern. According to him, Verizon did a
terrible job. He claims that they left the culverts stopped up and now water is having to run across the road (?) and through his
neighbors yard. He wants something done about it now. "He does not care if the road is going under construction in three days or
three years, Verizon is not going to come into his town and go off and leave it like this." He said that he was going to go talk to
Clay about it also.
I will go check it out and see what I can find out.
Glenn
I know we will never convince Kent that Verizon didn't change all the drainage. So, we will look at the culverts and clean out the
ones that need cleaning.

Any idea what Verizon did on his property and can we contact them to see if they intend to repair what they left undone?
