I will prepare a plan /profile drawing including encasement notes for you review and approval by tomorrow
morning.
Did you have a chance to take a look at C5.03R for the stub out to the east that I sent yesterday. Please
let me know.
Also the sketch is OK and we have approximate 3" clearance. The word invert that I used was not
correct.

The city has no objection to this proposed installation. This 3" clearance is less than ideal, however in our
opinion it will be better than trying to go over the water.
Have the contractor work with Rick on the appropriate encasement /protection of the sewer under the
water.

The attached sketch show the crossing elevations for stub out #2. The contractor tied the invert elevation
for the 24" rccp water pipe 40 ft to the west of the crossing location(see 5262 location #2 sketch). Per
plans the slope is 0.69% in both sides of the crossing. With these assumptions the clearance between the
24' water pipe and the proposed 8" ww stub out should be approximate 3"( sewer crossing under water).
Please check the attached sketch and let me know your comments or if it is acceptable. The contractor
requested a respond as early as we can.
