RE: Southwestern Boulevard FEMA Letter of Map Request (LOMR)
Dear Mr. Marvin:
This letter is in support of the LOMR application report for the new Southwestern Boulevard
Bridge. The engineer that sealed the LOMR application report, Ms. Maria Martinez, has been
working for Halff Associates for the last five years in our Water Resources Department under
Walter Skipwith's and my supervision. During Ms. Martinez's tenure with the firm she has
performed numerous floodplain studies and analyses for floodplain permitting including FEMA
submittals. The work performed by Ms. Martinez for this Southwestern Boulevard LOMB report
was internally reviewed by me throughout the duration of the project and the report was also
internally reviewed as part of our internal QAQC process before submittal to the City for approval.
The report should meet all of the requirements necessary for review of the LOMR by FEMA.
