Clay was copied on this email. >>> Linda Pilone <tripil@msn.com> 7/1/2010 2:15 PM >>> Keith: There are three lots that are located between Howell and Bolluck that are Southwestern addresses; one of the three is owned by an associate of mine, Mr. Rick Novack. Access to those properties has been provided through drives that have been constructed during the roadwork. Access needs to be provided from Southwestern Blvd. for the property of 192 Southwestern Blvd.(located on the Northwest corner of Southwestern Blvd., between Howell and Pinkerton Elementary school}) in the same manner that it was provided for the other properties. Currently, none of the properties that face Southwestern Blvd between Howell and Bullock have businesses located on them. The reason for the concern is to alleviate any business that will be located at 192 Southwestern Blvd. from accessing that property from Howell Drive. Howell Drive is a residential street and does not want commercial traffic using that road. Your assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. In the event we know of a development plan for an adjacent property, we will often construct a driveway approach to the property line, to be extended by the property owner at the time of their development. Neither of these situations existed for the property located at 192 Southwestern. The question of compatibility of use of this property with the surrounding homes would be better addressed with the Planning or Building Inspections Departments. > > Once the construction is complete, we will review the operation of the roadway from a traffic standpoint. This business needs that Southwestern access as it is a commercial endeavor and is NOT part of the Howell Drive and Bullock Street residential area. > > 2) Due to the nature of the traffic on Southwestern Blvd., a sign is needed on Howell Drive stating not to block that intersection. > > 3) The current merging traffic set-up on Southwestern Blvd. which is a potential for accidents as motorists tend to speed up in order to vie for that one lane. > > As you stated, you will get back to me concerning these matters; I look forward to your response. > > Sincerely, > > Mrs. Linda Pilone > 801 Howell Drive > Coppell, Texas 75019 > _________________________________________________________________ > The New Busy is not the too busy.
