Rodriguez, P.E. 24732-25816 EMAIL: jrodriguez@halff.com SUBJECT: Southwestern Boulevard - Coppell, Texas I received your proposal for the Bridge rail and I would like clarification of the following aspects: 1. - The original Bid shows an amount of $20,325.00 to build a type T411 bridge rail and your proposal shows $43,987.50 for demolition and construction of new rail. I understand that this operation would be more expensive than the original construction cost, but I would like clarification why the cost is more than double the original cost. 2.- I also requested a proposal to saw cut concrete around each Type "C" window leaving #7 bars in place and rebuild as Type "A" window. As requested, please provide a proposal for this option. 3. - Please let me know when you have scheduled to install the Type C411 bridge rail to the other side of the bridge, so we may coordinate this installation to either match existing or the modified rail.
