Attached is the bid from Trackwork with their contact information. We do not yet have an agreement in place with Fort
Worth and Western Railroad (FWWR). I will bring that agreement to City Council on October 13th. Trackwork will actually
contract with FWWR.
I also spoke with DART this morning, and they tell me that JRJ has not yet submitted a Contractors Right of Entry form for
this project. I think they will want one for both the paving and the communication conduit. The form is located in the
contract documents.

I think we can make this work. I would be more comfortable with this if
we backfill to the top of this box with flowable fill. Would that be an
additional cost, or had you planned it that way already?

If I understand your question correctly, we will have a piece of 36" RCP
between the manhole and the box structure for the connection just as if
it were two manholes.
I believe we will be placing a steel casing over the pipe and will have
to use ram neck or a rubber gasket around the casing. The settlement
issue should not be a problem as it will be backfilled just as would a
manhole and the adjoining RCP.

Do you have an option 2 for a cast in place box connected to the
existing box?
If not, how do we connect this to the existing box, and how do we ensure
no settlement, and that it will be water tight?

We need to close out Change Order #1. 1 need the pricing on the
water /storm box in Bethel in order to do that. Please send it over as
soon as you can. I need the final dollar amount for this change so I
can work on the sewer line change that needs to go to City Council.
If we don't have the numbers for CO #1 by Monday, then I can't do CO #2,
and we will miss the window for the 9/8 council meeting. If we miss
that meeting, we will not be able to get the sewer line approved until
the 9/22 City Council Meeting.

After taling with my utilitie sub, it appears that they ran into s
problem with the SS at the service center. They need to lower it to
connect it. The attached change order reflects the work that neds to be
done. Apperently this is holding up my sub right now.
