RE: Heartz Road Paving Improvements
Pre - construction Stakeholders Meeting
Dear Stakeholder:
The plans are finished and the contractor has been chosen. This project is one of the first
to utilize the 1 /4 cent sales tax dollars for the purpose of the complete reconstruction of a
neighborhood street.
We want to get the project started the right way by holding a meeting between the
residents, the Engineering staff and the contractor who will do the work. The meeting is
planned for September 30, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. at Manara Academy, 140 South Heartz Rd.
Please come and meet us, look at the plans, hear how the contractor plans to schedule the
work. and learn how it may affect you in the short term.
The project is slated to begin the first week of October 2010. The City's construction
inspector will be Rick O'Dell. He will be the main contact for any questions or concerns
during the course of the project and can be reached at 469 - 576 -7709. RKM Utility
Services of Carrollton will be the contractor; their contact person is Shane Huffman, 972-
241 -2621.
