RE: 2 issues
Hi Keith,
Regarding crossing - thank you - I let our maintenance contractor know.
Citizens are encouraged to call the # posted at each active warning crossing
- it goes to our dispatcher who will send a maintainer immediately.
Regarding ties - Trac-Work stockpiled the ties because we plan to go through
them and re-use any that have remaining useful life and dispose of the junk.
We just haven't gotten that far in terms of priorities. So yes, we're
planning to remove them eventually.
Thanks,
~ guido

Guido,
I have two issues I need your help with. The first is a call I received
from a resident complaining about what he called a malfunction of the
crossing at Mockingbird Lane here in town. He said the gate arm went up
after the train passed, so be began to proceed forward and it came back down
and nearly hit his car. I don't know what may have caused this, but I told
him I would bring it to FWWR's attention.
The second issue is related to our Coppell Road project. There are a number
of railroad ties staked up adjacent to the project area. We believe these
were removed by Trackwork as part of the crossing upgrade. Do you know if
they are planning to come and remove them?
Thanks,
Keith
