Re: Coppell Road South
Mr. Marvin,
I have the following change order request for the block sod, hydromulch and curlex needed to cover all
disturbed areas per the plans.
Original block sod quantity – 2300 sy @ $ (4.73) sy = $ (10,879.00)
New block sod quantity – 1550 sy @ $ 4.73/sy - $ 7,331.50
New hydromulch quantity behind sidewalk – 2400 sy @ $ 1.80/sy = $ 4,320.00
New hydromulch quantity at offsite storm drainage – 1822 sy @ $ 1.80/sy = $ 3,279.60
New curlex w/seed quantity at channel – 6500 sy @ $ 1.35/sy = $ 8,775.00
Additional cost to be included in this change order request - $ 12,827.10
I have included seed beneath the curlex but no watering. I have also not used FN’s offsite quantity of
650sy as this would be an average width of 7.22’. The run of pipe in this are was half 6’ x 4’ box culvert
and half 24” RCP pipe. There is no way we could place this pipe with an allowance of 7.22’ of disturbed
area. I used an average of 20’ due to the fact that we had to have the pipe trench and the area adjacent
to run materials, equipment and trucks back and forth to construct this run of pipe.
I have included watering for all of the block sod and hydromulch areas until an acceptable stand of
grass is established.
Should you have any questions please feel free to call me.
Sincerely,
Marty Murphy
